BayCare Health System in Clearwater seeks a Nurse Intern/RN nursing student to join our supportive inpatient team. This role is designed for students currently enrolled in an RN program and offers hands-on patient care under RN supervision, with pathways to future RN roles.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, assisting nursing staff, and submitting the BayCare Nurse Intern Portfolio within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Nursing Fundamentals in a current Registered Nursing Program
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Completion of BayCare Nurse Apprentice/PCT Clinical Skills training class

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN
• Assists nursing staff in delivering patient care as directed by the RN
• Must submit BayCare Nurse Intern Portfolio within 30 days to validate nursing education and skills
• Collaborates with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
