Responsibilities

• Oversee all staff in the facility and act as the on-site administrative designee for off-shifts and weekends.
• Assess and monitor clinical nursing practice for optimal patient care.
• Coordinate staffing for all shifts by maintaining appropriate staffing and skill levels.
• Manage decedent affairs and facilitate patient flow with internal and external stakeholders.
• Round on patient units to identify placement needs, available beds, and staff/patient capacity.
• Advocate for patients and monitor the quality of care delivered.
• Supervise staff, assess their needs, and identify educational opportunities.
• Manage and resolve clinical, human resource, and risk-management issues.
• Collaborate with Nursing Clinical Practice to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
