Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field required.
  • Active RN license (state of MA strongly preferred).
  • 5–7 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • 2–3 years leadership experience in healthcare.
  • PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of nursing professionals in a fast-paced PACU environment.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and psychologically safe team culture.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff through ongoing feedback and support.
  • Partner with clinical and operational leaders to improve team performance and patient outcomes.
  • Oversee onboarding, education, and professional development initiatives.
  • Help create staffing strategies that support both operational excellence and employee wellbeing.
  • Coordinate care and unit activities across hospital departments.
  • Serve as a visible and approachable leader during routine operations and high-stress situations.

Job Summary

Flow Manager / 40 Hrs Rotating - BWH Perianesthesia At Mass General Brigham, we know exceptional patient care starts with exceptional leaders. We're seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and emotionally intelligent nursing leader to help shape the culture, performance, and patient experience within our PACU team at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
  • Master's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field is required
  • Licensure & Certifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • ACLS preferred
  • BLS preferred
  • Experience: 5-7 years of clinical nursing experience required
  • 3-5 years Hospital, managed care or healthcare process improvement experience required
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience required
  • Current PACU experience preferred
