Job summary

St. Rose Dominican Siena is seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse to deliver comprehensive RN care across cardiac, orthopedic, and critical care contexts in Henderson. You will perform patient assessments, administer medications, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced setting.

Required: NV RN license, two years Med/Surg experience, BLS/CPR, NIHSS certification, and quarterly AHA RQI competency post-hire. Preferred: BSN and float pool experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years RN Med/Surg experience.
• Registered Nurse in NV (NV RN).
• Basic Life Support - CPR.
• NIHSS certification or equivalent.
• AHA RQI competency post-hire required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates, communicates, and collaborates with the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
• Provides assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients from adolescent to geriatric.
• Assists with managing patient care administered by other members of the nursing staff.
• Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
