Job summary

CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs is seeking a Campus Float Nurse to provide expert patient care across multiple units. You will monitor patients, assess needs, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to personalize plans.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska/Iowa or compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 5 months of hire.
• One year of RN experience preferred
• Specialty certification (e.g., CCRN, CNOR, CEN)
• Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas.

• Monitoring patients' conditions and assessing their needs
• Collaborating with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
• Administering patients' medications and providing treatments according to physicians' orders

Your success in this role comes from your knowledge to provide care to various disease processes in a variety of situations ranging from minor to critical while being able to consistently remain calm and positive.

• Monitoring patients' conditions and assessing their needs

• Administering patients' medications and providing treatments according to physicians' orders
• Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families

Your experience will be rewarded with premium differentials, in addition to standard night and weekend pay. We are also offering a $6,000 sign-on bonus and up to $10,000 educational assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

Pay Range

$36.00 - $52.20 /hour
