Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a Nurse Extern PRN to support nursing staff with supervised basic patient care and daily living activities. Under RN supervision, you will assist with patient care and maintain a clean, safe environment while building clinical competencies.

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program in good standing; BLS is required and second-semester students are preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
• Preference will be given to those in Second Semester and beyond.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under RN supervision.
• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care and Activities of Daily Living.
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and support the care team.
