Job summary

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL is seeking a Nurse Extern PRN to join the nursing team. You will gain hands-on experience as you explore the Registered Nurse role and help deliver safe, compassionate care under supervision.

As you progress through your nursing program, you will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, and document care while communicating with the team to maintain seamless patient care in a 350-bed facility.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Completion of fundamentals of nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), monitor vital signs, support mobility and comfort.
• Perform basic nursing tasks such as wound care, catheter care, specimen collection, under supervision.
• Document care accurately and communicate updates to the nursing team.
