Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Enrolled in an Accredited Nursing program with anticipate completion within 12 months from hire.
• One year of previous job-related experience.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: Completion of an approved nursing assistant course.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical procedures as authorized under the direction of an RN and/or Nurse Manager.
• In addition, perform basic nursing assistant responsibilities.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Enrolled in Accredited Nursing program (12 months from hire)

One year of experience

BLS certification within 14 days

Nursing assistant course (preferred)
