Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking a Nurse Extern PRN to support nursing staff under RN supervision. You will assist with basic patient care and daily living activities while enrolled in an accredited nursing program.

The role offers exposure to a busy hospital environment within the HCA Healthcare system and requires current enrollment in a nursing program with BLS certification. This is a PRN/part-time opportunity at our Florida Capital Hospital location.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of nursing
• Preference will be given to those in Second Semester and beyond
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of the RN
• Assist nursing staff with activities of daily living and patient care tasks
• Maintain a clean, well-organized and safe patient care environment
