Mercy Springfield invites nursing students to join the Nurse Extern program for Spring 2027. You will work under an RN, supporting patient care and performing limited clinical procedures within the extern scope.

Enrollment in an approved RN or PN program is required, with transcripts and one letter of recommendation submitted for consideration. A contract will bind you to Mercy facilities for 1–3 years post‑graduation, and minimum 16 hours per pay period will be worked.

• Enrolled in an approved RN or Practical Nurse program.
• Requires transcripts and one letter of recommendation.

Responsabilités

• Participates in clinical work under the direction of an RN.
• Assists in individualized patient care to promote wellness.
• Performs designated clinical procedures and nonclinical support tasks within the nurse extern scope.
