Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System invites Summer 2026 graduate nurses to join as RN Residency and Nurse Extern II at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese, IL. The program runs 36 hours per week, nights 7p-7a, with a pathway from Nurse Extern II to RN after licensure.

Eligible graduates must be RN licensed in state of practice; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Start as Nurse Extern II during final semester and transition to RN after licensure.
• Provide nursing care in Medical-Surgical department and participate in clinical practice as part of residency program.
