Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited RN nursing program
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course
• Must be within the final one to two academic terms of the nursing program (graduating year)

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Extern II provides patient care support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, participating in patient care planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation, and communicating significant observations to the RN, within established scope and guidelines.
