Job summary

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Extern I for onsite work in Litchfield, IL. The role is open as PRN, part time or full time, intended for nursing students gaining hands-on clinical experience.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited ADN/BSN/MSN program (or have graduated within the last year) and have completed at least one clinical rotation. BLS certification is required to participate in patient care activities.

Qualifications

• Nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited ADN, BSN or MSN program, or graduated with ADN or BSN within the previous 1 year.
• Must have completed at least one clinical rotation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients of all ages in a hospital setting.
• Support nursing team and participate in patient care activities.
• Gain hands-on clinical experience while enrolled in nursing program.
