Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Currently enrolled in an ADN/BSN program; must have completed Basic Fundamentals of Nursing by start date; in good academic standing and approved by school of nursing to work (Required)
• Certifications and Licensures Required Certifications/Licensures : AHA Basic Life Support; If post graduation must obtain nursing license within 60 days of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN and LPN in providing patient care in assigned areas.
• Document patient activities as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Adhere to hospital policies and patient confidentiality.
• Participate in unit activities and quality improvement.
