Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Student to join as a Nurse Intern in a PRN, flexible role that supports school schedules and clinical rotations. The position offers opportunities to shadow experienced RNs and grow toward a Graduate Nurse role.

Must be actively enrolled in a nursing program with Nursing Fundamentals completed by start date; flexible scheduling accommodates summer, winter breaks, and senior year clinicals.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an Accredited RN Nursing Program and completion of Nursing Fundamentals by start date
• Must be currently enrolled in BSN or ADN RN program
• BLS/CPR certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Diploma or GED in nursing program

Responsibilities

• Delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care tasks related to nursing functions and activities of daily living
• Assists RN and nursing staff to provide patient care in accordance with training and unit needs
• Maintains a clean, safe patient care environment and supports the patient care team
• Flexible schedule with shadow time opportunities on additional units and early interview possibilities for Graduate Nurse roles
