Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a state-approved practical nursing program or an accredited BSN program.
• Completion of fundamentals of nursing course with clinical practicum is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN in providing care based on nursing process and unit standards.
• Perform vital signs, bathing, feeding, ambulation, and patient hygiene tasks.
• Document findings and care as permitted by policy under RN oversight.
