Job summary

Dignity Health's Chandler Regional Medical Center seeks an RN Educator for the Womens and Infants Service Line. You will design, organize, implement, and evaluate evidence-based educational programs, orientations, and continuing education across MGMC and CRMC campuses.

You will lead staff development to enhance patient care quality and safety, applying clinical expertise and instructional design to drive staff competency and engagement in a patient- and family-centered care model.

Qualifications

BSN required and AZ RN license; 5 years clinical practice in area of specialty.
BLS certification required; experience with Windows and word processing.
Preferred: Master’s degree and teaching experience.

Responsibilities

Performs initial and ongoing educational needs assessment.
Collaborates with department leaders in identification and development of competencies.
Creates and documents education plans with leadership to meet strategic initiatives.
Utilizes adult education theories to foster development.
Authors curriculum and implements educational in-services using various methods including technology and simulation.
Submits documentation for attendance, evaluations, and competency tools.
