Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing educational needs assessment.
• Collaborate with department leaders to identify and develop competencies.
• Create and document education plans with leadership to meet organizational initiatives.
• Utilize adult education theories to foster educational development.
• Author curriculum and implement in-services, classes, and programs using traditional and innovative methods including technology and simulation.
• Submit education documentation: attendance rosters, course evaluations, and competency tools.
