Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare seeks a Nurse Educator to design, implement, and evaluate educational programs that enhance safe, patient- and family-centered care. The role supports professional development and clinical excellence across the nursing staff, reporting to Clinical Excellence leadership.

The educator will coordinate with CNS and Nursing leadership to develop orientation, preceptorship, CBOT development, and residency programs, promoting current evidence-based practices and regulatory

Qualifications

• Valid RN license from Virginia or reciprocal compact state required.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• Certified in Nursing Professional Development within 3 years.
• Scheduling flexibility to meet educational goals; may include evenings/nights/weekends.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in a specialty area.
• Proficient with electronic systems and programs (Microsoft Office, Online Learning tools).

Responsibilities
