Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Virginia or compact state.
• BSN degree from an accredited school.
• MSN preferred.
• AHA BLS CPR required at hire.
• Nursing Professional Development certification within 3 years.
• Scheduling flexibility including evenings/nights/weekends.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration and conflict resolution skills.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in specialty area.
• Proficient with electronic systems and programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs to improve care delivery.
• Develop curricula and educational plans for staff.
• Coordinate inter-professional education and staff development.
• Conduct annual staff skill validation and onboarding.
• Collaborate with CNS to maintain Nursing excellence and orientation programs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods, including online learning tools.
• Evaluate program impact on learners, patients, and organization.
• Promote lifelong learning and professional development.
