Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. seeks a Nurse Educator within Human Resources to lead clinical training and development initiatives. The role requires a nursing degree and strong clinical background to support preceptors, orientees, and education programs across departments.

The incumbent collaborates with management to create effective orientation and competency development, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care across Mount Sinai’s facilities in South Florida.

Qualificações

  • Current RN licensure in the State of Florida is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required; Master’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • 2–5 years of RN experience is required; 1+ year in regulatory surveys preferred.
  • BLS Instructor certification and Workplace Violence Training are desirable.

We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence.**Department:**CC019510 Human Resources**Job Description Summary:**Clinical Nurse Training & Development Specialist This is a role in our Training & Development division of Human Resources that requires a nursing degree and clinical background.## Position Responsibilities* Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the general diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and nursing care of patients.* Serves as a clinical resource to preceptors, orientees, staff, educators, and students.* Collaborates with management team in the development of orientation for new employees relevant to their needs as deemed appropriate.* Serves as consultant to management and staff in nursing and non-nursing departments under the guidance of the Director/Manager.* Works collaboratively with clinical managers nursing personnel and non-nursing personnel as specified in established policies.* Collaborates with Manager of Education to design, plan, coordinate, and evaluate formal education programs for specific clinical area based on staff, hospital needs, and age specific criteria. For Nursing and Non-Nursing Clinical departments under the guidance of the Director/Manager.* Assist in creating unit based and annual competencies for staff in clinical and non-clinical departments.* Provides in service programs to clinical and non-clinical departments as deemed appropriate.* Assists the Director/Manager in maintaining updated personnel's HR files to comply with various regulatory requirements.## Qualifications* ### License/Registration/Certification + Current RN Licensure in the State of Florida required.
