Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Nurse Educator to implement system nursing education and professional development programs across facilities. You will partner with leaders to support orientation, RN Residency, and preceptor initiatives while fostering a learner-centered environment.

Under the Nursing Professional Development model, you will assess needs, design curricula, and validate competencies using data to drive improvements in patient outcomes and nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS/ACLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience with 2 years in leadership or professional development project management.

Responsibilities

• Implement system nursing education and professional development programs.
• Support orientation, onboarding, RN Residency, and preceptor programs.
• Provide coaching/mentoring for staff; ensure competency assessment and validation.
• Apply adult learning theories; design effective learning experiences.
• Monitor program performance and outcomes to improve nursing practice and patient care.
