The Nurse Educator, Critical Care at NYU Langone Health is responsible for assessing learning needs, planning and implementing educational activities, and maintaining clinical expertise to support nursing staff and improve patient care standards.

• Collaborate with patient care unit leadership to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Identify and address learning needs of nursing staff in assigned clinical areas.

Requirements

Education:

• Master's degree in nursing education required

Experience:

• 3-5 years of clinical experience in a specialty area or combination of staff nurse/leadership experience

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in New York State
• Certification in Nursing Education required upon eligibility
• Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
