Job summary

The Clinical Education Specialist is a registered nurse or equivalent who collaborates with the health care team to ensure safe, evidence‑based patient care in ambulatory clinics. You will design and implement education programs, manage the Learning Management System, and support staff competency and compliance across Community Practice.

Reporting to the Manager of Education and Compliance, you will work with Quality and Practice Leadership to assess educational needs and drive ongoing staff

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years of clinical nursing experience.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master’s in Nursing Education and RN licensure.
• Experience with ambulatory care and education programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and orientation by developing individualized learning plans and assessing progress.
• Design and deliver clinical education through in-services, workshops, and competency validation.
• Serve as a clinical education resource by providing subject‑matter expertise and coaching.
• Promote standardized and safe clinical practice by reinforcing evidence‑based policies and procedures.
• Administer and manage the Learning Management System for training modules.
• Monitor education compliance by tracking licensure, certifications, and competencies.
• Advance quality by evaluating outcomes and collaborating with clinic leaders.
