Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing required.
  • 2 years of Burn Unit/Burn ICU experience preferred.

We Are Hiring
  • Department: Burn ICU
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 0800 - 1600.
  • Hospital: Columbia St. Mary's Milwaukee
  • Location: Milwaukee, WI
What You Will Do

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities planning for an assigned service or population.

  • Collaborate with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
  • Identify and/or develop teaching tools and instructional materials.
  • Keep records of educational activities and prepares reports.
What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
  • Educator specializing in Childbirth preferred.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time ofhire.
Additional Preferences

2 years of Burn Unit/Burn ICU experience strong preferred.
