The University of Miami seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator to support multi-site perioperative services, applying Nursing Professional Development standards. You will lead learning initiatives, collaborate with clinical teams, and drive competency and onboarding programs across units.
Responsibilities include developing education activities, assessing staff learning needs, and partnering with departments to ensure evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care.
This Clinical Nurse Educator role supports Lennar Perioperative Services consisting of UPAC, PRE/PACU, OR, IR, and GI. The Nurse Educator 2 fulfills multi-site/specialty unit(s) functions according to the Nursing Professional Development (NPD) roles of learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for scientific inquiry, advocate for NPD specialty, and partner for practice transitions. The incumbent carries out these responsibilities in alignment with the current Nursing Professional Development Scope & Standards of
Practice and utilizing the nursing process as applied to the specialty (assessment, learning needs and outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
Certification and Licensing:
Valid State of Florida RN license required

Experience:
