Summary

The Nursing Educator seeks innovative ways to achieve educational goals for nursing and Nursing Professional Development. This position seeks and integrates current knowledge of oncology nursing and principles of adult learning into education. The Nursing Educator utilizes systematic educational planning principles, solid instructional design methods, and emerging technologies for the creation of relevant programs, materials, methods and media to communicate information and implements monitoring and assessment measures to determine effectiveness. These individual designs education programs and materials for diverse audiences with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes and facilitating nursing professional development across practice settings.

Under the direction of the Nursing Professional Development Director and Manager of Nursing Professional Development, this role will provide orientation and education for all levels of nursing staff across settings.

The Ideal Candidate

• Knowledge and experience in developing, topics of process and nursing educational needs
• Previous teaching and / or education experience is highly preferred.

The Nursing Educator develops and delivers orientation, training, and professional development programs for nursing staff. This role applies adult learning principles, oncology nursing expertise, and innovative educational strategies to address learning needs, improve competencies, and enhance patient outcomes. The position works closely with nursing leadership to identify educational gaps, create effective learning programs, and evaluate their success. Candidates should have a BSN, an active Florida RN license, at least three years of acute care or oncology nursing experience, and preferably prior teaching experience.

Salary Range

Salary Range $80,974.40 - $123,364.80 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
