Within the Nursing Education Department, the Nurse Educator plays a key role in onboarding, competency development, preceptorship, and specialty training across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and ancillary services. Together, they support simulation-based education, evidence-based practice initiatives, shared governance, and high-acuity preparedness. The role also contributes to workflow optimization through EHR tools, supports quality and safety initiatives, and ensures regulatory readiness. With strong leadership access and adequate resources, the Staff Development Coordinator is positioned for success in delivering impactful education programs.
