Job summary

Boro Park Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a registered nurse educator to develop and deliver education programs for nursing and support staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver educational programs for nursing and support staff.
• Facilitate onboarding, orientation, annual competencies, and ongoing in-service training.
• Promote infection prevention, workplace safety, emergency preparedness, resident care, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching, mentoring, and educational support to improve clinical outcomes.
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Maintain educational records, competency evaluations, attendance logs, and required training documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational needs and implement effective training solutions.
• Review employee-related incidents and contribute to workplace safety and injury prevention efforts.
• Support employee health initiatives, including screenings, immunizations, and return-to-work processes as permitted by scope of practice.
• Stay current with healthcare regulations, evidence-based practices, and industry standards for ongoing compliance and excellence.
