Job summary

Mount Sinai Morningside seeks an experienced Nurse Educator/Administrative leader to advance Relationship Centered Care and the Modified Primary Nursing model within the Patient Experience framework. You will lead staff development, oversee education programs, and collaborate with nursing leadership to improve quality and safety.

The role requires RN licensure in New York, a BSN, and a master’s degree in nursing or related field with leadership/education experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing required.
Master’s degree in nursing/related healthcare field; nursing education leadership preferred.
Professional board certification in clinical specialty or staff development recommended.
Licensed as a registered nurse with current New York State registration.
BCLS/ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required.

Responsibilities

Leads nursing practice using Relationship Centered Care and Modified Primary Nursing to promote patient experience.
Ensures integration of Purposeful Hourly Rounding in clinical activities to enhance patient-centered care.
Validates staff competency in PHR and provides feedback.
Communicates patient experience metrics to staff and interdisciplinary team.
Oversees education, staff development, and plays a role in performance improvement initiatives.
