Job summary

Pana Community Hospital is seeking a Staff Development & Employee Health Coordinator (RN) to lead staff education, competency, and employee health initiatives across the organization.

This full-time, day-shift role requires IL RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and at least two years of nursing experience; a Bachelor’s in Nursing Education is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• RN license in Illinois required with current BLS and ACLS credentials.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in healthcare.
• Bachelor’s or higher in Nursing Education is highly desirable.
• Experience with employee health and staff education preferred.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support staff education, development, and competency programs across the organization.
• Assess educational needs and collaborate with leaders to plan training.
• Deliver classroom-style and one-on-one clinical education.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, training, and competency validation.
• Maintain education, training, competency, and employee health records.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
• Support regulatory readiness activities related to staff education and health.
• Protect confidentiality and HIPAA in all education activities.
