Med Career Solutions in Las Vegas, NV seeks an experienced Nurse (RN) Director of Surgical Services to lead staffing, budgeting and strategic planning for surgical units. This full-time leadership role emphasizes patient-centered care and operational excellence in a large healthcare setting.

The incumbent will drive policy development, foster collaboration with clinical teams, and oversee implementation of care standards while ensuring alignment with facility objectives and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required for this role.
• Master's Degree is highly preferred.
• 1+ years of recent acute care Director of Surgical Services experience.
• 3+ years of applicable acute care Surgical Services experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the unit(s)/department(s) staffing, forecasting, planning and budget monitoring.
• Foster accountability and collaboration and support development and implementation of strategies, policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do in the Role:

The Director of Surgical Services high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Required
• Master's Degree – Highly preferred
• MUST have 1+ years of recent acute care Director of Surgical Services experience
• MUST have 3+ years applicable experience in acute care Surgical Services

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $123K - $185K/year (Based on years of experience)
• Incentive Bonus: 17.5% potential
• Sign on bonus: Yes, Case by case
• Relocation: Yes, Case by case
