Job summary

Kittitas Interactive Management in Washington state seeks a Nurse Delegated Coordinator to support clients requiring nurse delegated tasks and other medically intensive services in home settings. You will help clients follow their care plans and work within residential guidelines.

Shifts include Saturday-Sunday across several time windows. The role pays $19.00–$20.00 per hour with a $2 weekend incentive; training is provided, and license assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check must be cleared before working with clients.
• Valid driver’s license or State ID required.
• Ability to follow care plans and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily hygiene per individual care plans.
• Administer medications per protocol and document activities.
• Coordinate with medical offices, pharmacies, and nurse delegator.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Monitor vitals and client behaviors; document observations.
• Transport clients to activities and appointments or arrange transport.
• Complete forms, reports, and data sheets for caseload.
• Supervise daily activities and living conditions for safety.
• Document activity and update individualized programs.

Job description

Summary

The primary role of the Nurse Delegated Coordinator is to provide in-home support to clients requiring nurse delegated and other medically intensive tasks. Assist clients to achieve their goals in accordance with the residential guidelines. KIM is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following shifts:

• Shift: Saturday-Sunday (4:00pm-12:00am)
• Saturday-Sunday (7:00am-3:00pm)
• Saturday-Sunday(4:00pm-8:30pm)

Salary

$19.00 - $20.00 hourly
(+$2 hour incentive on the weekends)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily hygiene as outlined in their individual care plans, including personal care such as brushing teeth, bathing, hair washing, toileting, and more.
• Administer correct medications to clients and document the activity accordingly, including nurse delegated tasks.
• Communicate with medical offices, pharmacies, and the nurse delegator for medications and appointments.
• Assist clients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed, as needed
• Monitoring vitals (if applicable) and client behaviors, documenting accordingly.
• Transport clients to and from all activities and appointments and/or arrange transportation services as appropriate.
• Complete all forms, reports, and data sheets for caseload.
• Supervise clients’ daily activities and living conditions to ensure adequate health and safety.
• Coordinate individualized programs for clients and document activity thoroughly.
• All training required for this position is paid and will be provided by KIM

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

• Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) License, or higher (required, KIM will assist in obtaining this license upon hire)
• Home Care Aide (HCA) License (preferred)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (NAC) License (preferred)

Education And Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent (required)
• Intermediate experience with supporting living, preferably with individuals developmentally or otherwise disabled adults.

Skills And Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Criminal background check cleared before working alone unsupervised with the clients.
• Valid driver’s license or State ID.
• Ability to follow instructions, organize and set priorities.
• Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension.
• In-depth understanding of client care policies and regulations.
• Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditions.
