Job summary

Kittitas Interactive Management is seeking a Nurse Delegated Coordinator to provide in-home support to clients requiring nurse delegated and other medically intensive tasks. The role assists clients to achieve goals in accordance with residential guidelines, with a full-time Monday - Friday 12am - 8am shift.

The Nurse Delegated Coordinator will administer medications, monitor client vitals, coordinate care, and maintain thorough documentation while ensuring safety and compliance across care

Qualifications

• NAR license or higher required.
• Home Care Aide (HCA) license preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience supporting living with disabled adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily hygiene per care plans, including brushing teeth, bathing, toileting, and more.
• Administer medications correctly and document activity, including nurse delegated tasks.
• Communicate with medical offices, pharmacies and the nurse delegator for meds and appointments.
• Assist clients with mobility needs, including transfers between wheelchair and bed.
• Monitor vitals and client behaviors; document observations.
• Transport clients to appointments or arrange transportation as needed.
• Complete forms, reports and data sheets for caseload.
• Supervise clients' daily activities and living conditions to ensure health and safety.
• Coordinate individualized programs for clients and document activity thoroughly.

Assist clients to achieve their goals in accordance with the residential guidelines. KIM is looking for qualified candidates to fill a full-time Monday - Friday 12am - 8am shift.

Salary

$19.00 hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily hygiene as outlined in their individual care plans, including personal care such as brushing teeth, bathing, hair washing, toileting, and more.
• Administer correct medications to clients and document the activity accordingly, including nurse delegated tasks.
• Communicate with medical offices, pharmacies, and the nurse delegator for medications and appointments.
• Assist clients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed, as needed.
• Monitoring vitals (if applicable) and client behaviors, documenting accordingly.
• Transport clients to and from all activities and appointments and/or arrange transportation services as appropriate.
• Complete all forms, reports, and data sheets for caseload.
• Supervise clients' daily activities and living conditions to ensure adequate health and safety.
• Coordinate individualized programs for clients and document activity thoroughly.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

• Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) License, or higher (required)
• Home Care Aide (HCA) License (preferred)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (NAC) License (preferred)

Education and Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent (required)
• Intermediate experience with supporting living, preferably with individuals developmentally or otherwise disabled adults.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Criminal background check cleared before working alone unsupervised with the clients.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to follow instructions, organize and set priorities.
• Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension.
• In-depth understanding of client care policies and regulations.
• Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for a number of medical conditions.
