Job summary

Traditions of Zanesville in Ohio is seeking a qualified nurse to provide direct patient care and coordinate basic treatments on your assigned unit.

You will administer medications, monitor patient condition, and communicate changes to the care team, while supporting patients and families with education and comfort. This role requires licensure and prefers 1 year of experience; the facility offers comprehensive benefits and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• LPN/RN licensure required; 1 year preferred.
• Ability to monitor vital signs and report changes promptly.
• Excellent patient and family communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients.

Job description

• Provides nursing care to patients as assigned
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned
• Reinforce supports and provides health care instructions to patients and their families
• Participates with other team members in planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
• Observes and reports patients' vital signs, symptoms and general condition to the appropriate individual(s)
• Records on patient charts observation of patient’s responses to nursing care rendered
• Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients
• Assists with unit management and/or assume charge of unit as assigned

Nurse Qualifications and Skills

• LPN/RN Licensure: 1 year (Preferred)
