Tampa General Hospital-Citrus is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Med Surg Tele to oversee the delivery of patient care and coordinate nursing activities across shifts. The ideal candidate will hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing and an active Florida RN license (or Compact State).

Qualifications

• Two years in clinical registered nursing.
• RN license in Florida or Compact State.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications are desirable.

Responsabilités

• Overseeing nursing staff schedules, assignments, and workloads to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations.
• Ensuring high-quality patient care by collaborating with healthcare teams, reviewing patient progress, and addressing concerns.
• Ensuring nursing practices align with hospital protocols, regulations, and safety standards.
• Providing guidance, mentoring, and ongoing education to nursing staff to improve skills and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Working closely with physicians, department heads, and support staff to facilitate patient care and address any operational issues.
