Tampa General Hospital seeks a Clinical Nurse for Med Surg Tele to provide direct patient care on base unit. You will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, document progress, and collaborate with the health care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include ongoing assessments, discharge planning, directing care team, and patient education. The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, and unit-specific certifications; ACLS/PALS may be required.

Competenze

• Active RN license in Florida or Compact State
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• ACLS and/or PALS certifications may be required
• Stroke certification such as NIHSS may be required
• Unit-specific certifications may apply

Mansioni

• Assess and analyze health status with comprehensive patient assessments per unit policy
• Plan and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and families
• Coordinate discharge planning from admission through discharge
• Direct care team activities and delegate tasks within scope of practice
• Document all patient care, assessments, plans, interventions and responses
• Communicate changes to the plan of care to the care team during rounds and handoffs
