Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an active license in good standing.
• 7-10 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Critical Care, Medical-Surgical, Trauma, ER).
• Strong organization, communication, educational, and multitasking skills.
• Detailed with strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and clients.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable with a paperless system; familiarity with radiology and monitoring software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze medical documentation, case facts, and evidence to support attorneys across multiple practice areas.
• Prepare medical chronologies, fact summaries, and timelines relating to mechanism of injury, standard of care, causation, and damages.
• Assist attorneys in preparation and defense of medical issues; review and summarize case files and medical records.
• Perform medical literature searches pertaining to case allegations or key aspects; educate team on relevant findings.
