Responsibilities

Shifts available are between 8a-5p with several locations across Louisville, KY

The Nurse Clinician - Oncology acts as a clinician, educator, consultant, researcher, and leader relevant to the needs of oncology patients and their families, nursing personnel, and the healthcare system. They serve as a clinical resource and expert in oncology, communicating needs and coordinating services among healthcare team members to ensure high-quality oncology care and improved patient outcomes. The Nurse Clinician demonstrates knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice, clinical competency, and professional development, utilizing the Swanson Theory of Caring and patient/family-centered care as the foundation of nursing practice.

Qualifications
Required:
  • 1 year of experience in oncology, palliative care, head and neck, or 3 years of general nursing experience
  • Associate Degree
  • Registered Nurse
Desired:
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or other relevant oncology certification
