Minimum Qualifications:

Job Summary:

Proficient Clinician with knowledge and skill to meet standards for competent professional nursing practice as specified in the Texas Nurse Practice Act. Practice involves a balance of interdependent/independent decision-making and a holistic approach to patient care. Functions effectively with the interdisciplinary team, initiates team actions to address patient care issues, and serves as a clinical leader. Leads in developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based standards of practice in the specialty area. Provides patient care following the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Practice and Professional Performance. Supports the strategic initiatives of the unit, nursing, and the health system.
