Job Summary

The Nurse Clinician II (NCII) possesses the necessary knowledge and skills to meet professional practice standards as per the Texas Nursing Practice Act and HCHD Nursing Service. They independently manage patients with common clinical issues, recognize when assistance is needed, and seek appropriate resources.

Degrees

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Diploma in Nursing; Graduate from an accredited nursing school

Licensure/Certification

• Registered Nurse licensed in Texas
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or Red Cross

Other Requirements

• One year of full-time RN experience or completion of GN Program
• Bilingual skills preferred

Communication Skills

• Above average verbal communication (heavy public contact)
• Exceptional verbal skills (public speaking)
• Writing and report composition
