Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Nurse in a leadership role within our multidisciplinary care team. You will develop and implement practice guidelines, participate in clinical pathway teams, and uphold standards of care through staff development and patient education.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with GA RN licensure in good standing, 2 years RN experience, and BLS; BSN and ACLS/PALS/NRP credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other clinical certifications in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Functions in a leadership role, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team as a direct care provider and clinical expert.
• Develops and implements practice guidelines, participates as active and integral member of clinical pathway team, and maintains the established standards of care through staff development, clinical improvement activities, and patient/staff education.
