Job Details

  • Work Location: Lexington, KY
  • Salary Range: $23.25-39.10/hour
  • Position Type: Staff, Full-Time
  • Work Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts (7P–7:30AM), including weekends and holidays; shift determined at interview
Qualifications
  • ADN required
  • Active Kentucky RN license, TWP, Provisional License, or active compact RN license in good standing
  • American Heart Association BLS certification valid for at least 6 months after employment
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds daily; stand, walk, sit for extended periods; exposure to communicable diseases, radiation, and sharp instruments possible.

Job Summary

Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for adult trauma and acute surgical patients in ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, teaching, and evaluation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of Maslow’s needs, Gordon’s Functional Health Patterns, Swanson’s Caring model; excellent critical thinking, communication, organizational, and delegation skills; proactive and team-oriented attitude; strong technical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

BSN and at least 1 year RN experience preferred.
