FlexStaff Regional Home Care Field Supervisor

FlexStaff is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Home Care Field Supervisor to oversee clinical services in participants' homes. This role involves monitoring nursing standards, ensuring quality care, collaborating with departments, guiding nursing staff, and participating in operational management.

Salary: $10,000 Sign-on Bonus!

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and supervise clinical nursing services in home settings, ensuring adherence to care plans and quality standards.
2. Assess and evaluate healthcare needs of participants.
3. Conduct joint visits with nurses for supervision and competency assessment.
4. Train and guide nursing staff and aides in home health care practices.
5. Collaborate with the Care Planning Team to develop and maintain care plans.
6. Maintain documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
7. Conduct chart audits and field visits as needed.
8. Educate participants and aides on medications, safety, and diet.
9. Build positive relationships with coworkers, participants, and community resources.
10. Stay updated on health issues and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications:

Education: Degree from an NLN-accredited nursing school (RN, BSN required). A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.

Experience:

• At least one year of home care experience as a community health nurse in a Certified Home Health Agency, Long Term Home Health Care Program, or Licensed Agency.
• Experience with frail or elderly populations is required.
• Experience in PACE or Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC) is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in computer use and technology.
• Valid New York State driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
• Knowledge of New York State Department of Health Regulations.
• Active and unrestricted RN license in New York State is required.
