Job summary

AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Manager in Alabama to lead clinical staff, oversee patient care quality, and coordinate home health services. The role ensures compliance, effective care plans, and efficient operations within a home-based care setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state(s) you will be assigned to work.
• One year of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice.
• One year of RN management experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Recommend employment decisions for staff to the director of operations, including hiring, firing, promotions or status changes.
• Ensure overall quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides.
• Organize clinical operations for the care center.
• Review service requests and determine patient eligibility for home care services; coordinate referrals and admissions.
• Oversee scheduling and payor verification requirements.
• Ensure timely and complete documentation; address gaps and errors.
• Develop and revise Plan of Care with clinicians; monitor patient needs and priorities.
• Participate in on-call process and staff training to ensure quality care and fiscal responsibility.
