Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, or ASN with 2 years' clinical education experience.
• Will complete bachelor's degree within the stated time frame.
• Current IA RN license.
• Experience in adult learning principles and staff education.
• Strong ability to present to large groups.

Responsibilities

• Links the mission, vision, values, and employee expectations with performance improvement activities.
• Collaborate with department leaders to align educational goals.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate staff development programs.
• Plan and coordinate orientation for clinical staff.
• Facilitate skill training and competency assessment.
• Serve as a resource for staff education across units.
• Address learning needs and apply adult learning principles.
• Act as liaison between departments on policies and procedures.
• Facilitate group meetings and team-building activities.
• Participate in professional meetings and continuing education.
• Contribute to organizational improvement initiatives.
• Model service excellence and regulatory compliance.
