Job summary

Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated in North Carolina seeks an experienced Nurse Educator to serve as a role model, consultant, and facilitator for the nursing staff. You will assess learning needs, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate educational activities using evidence-based practice to promote patient care quality.

This full-time position requires RN licensure in the state, a minimum of five years of clinical experience (ED/CC preferred), and an MSN or progress toward completion.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in North Carolina.
• Minimum 5 years of current clinical experience (ED/CC preferred).
• MSN required or significant progress toward completion.
• Willingness to obtain specialty certifications.
• Ability to develop education programs based on department needs.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and pass a basic FIT test.

Responsibilities

• Act as a role model, consultant, and facilitator for nursing education using evidence-based practice.
• Orient, educate, and supervise nursing staff while maintaining clinical competence.
• Assist Director with monitoring compliance of staff educational requirements and certifications.
• Assess learning needs and plan, develop, implement, and evaluate educational activities.
