This position is located in the Kayenta Service Unit, Nursing Services, Emergency Department, Kayenta, AZ. The primary purpose is to provide Emergency Department case management and clinical coordination through patient assessment, care coordination, service integration, follow-up, and evaluation. The position supports continuity of care, improves patient flow, and ensures safe, efficient, and effective healthcare delivery.

Official certification from the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (external link) is required for individuals who graduated from foreign nursing schools.
For all grade levels and positions, applicants must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination. In addition, they must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks.
Professional nursing care in an Emergency Department while coordinating case management, patient referrals, discharge planning, continuity of care, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure timely, high-quality patient services. Experience performing comprehensive patient assessments, triage, clinical documentation, patient education, quality improvement activities, and utilizing electronic health records and specialized medical equipment to support safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
