Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Nurse Case Manager to support rare disease therapies from therapy initiation onward. You will educate patients, coordinate benefits and prior authorizations, and ensure smooth care transitions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and pharmacovigilance standards.

The role is field-based with 20% travel and requires flexibility for evenings and weekends; experience with infusion therapies and specialty pharmacy workflows is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. RN license.
• BSN or higher preferred.
• 8+ years nursing experience with 5+ in case management.
• Experience in rare diseases or specialty therapeutics preferred.
• Expertise in infusion therapies and specialty pharmacy processes.

Responsibilities

Role:

Senior Nurse Case Manager (NCM) supporting rare disease therapies, responsible for clinical education, care coordination, and access support from therapy initiation onward.

Responsibilities:

serve as a primary contact for patients/caregivers, provide non-promotional education, coordinate benefits verification, prior authorizations, and care transitions; manage case documentation, escalation complex issues, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacovigilance standards.

Requirements:

active U.S. RN license, Bachelor’s degree (BSN preferred), minimum 8 years nursing experience with at least 5 in case management, preferably in rare diseases or specialty therapeutics; expertise in infusion therapies and specialty pharmacy processes.
