Job summary

The Independent Living Association (ILA) seeks a Registered Nurse in Brooklyn, NY for a regular full-time role. The RN will coordinate medical care for individuals in residences, covering varied services and supporting ongoing medical oversight. Requirements include a nursing degree (BSN preferred), current RN license in New York, and 2–5 years of RN experience; prior work in an ICF or IRA for the developmentally disabled is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
• 2–5 years RN experience.
• Experience in an ICF or IRA for the Developmentally Disabled preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical care for residents.
• Cover the varied services in the residences.
• Participate in ongoing interdisciplinary evaluation for individualized medical needs.
• Supervise client medication administration.
